    Description

When starting Oozie server, it fails, despite Oracle JDK 6 being installed and configured in /etc/default/bigtop-utils:

Neither the JAVA_HOME nor the JRE_HOME environment variable is defined
At least one of these environment variable is needed to run this program

This appears to be happening when a new instance of the shell is invoked for the subprocess of the init script. This is easy to fix, but I'm suspicious as this seems like a problem we would have seen long before now.
