Major Description
some build steps do install files into the repository with maven install:installfile.
The file in the local maven repository may be existing before – from an existing build in the past, where it has been already downloaded with a accompanied checksum file.
After installing the file/artifact the checksum is invalid (since it is from the download) and does not match the new file.
Workaround: Install all files with checksums side-by-side.
