Hi,

 

.mailmap manipulates individuals data which are considered "personal" (name, email etc)

AFAIK Apache/Beam is not allowed to do it straight, in particular for EU citizens (GDPR).

Can the file be removed since it is not used by the beam project (at least apache/beam repo)?
