Unable to auto-delete queue for MQTT retained message

    Description

      The queues (e.g. $sys.mqtt.retain.xxx) holding MQTT retained message are not automatically deleted even if messageCount=0, such as when the message expires or a zero-length payload is sent.

      The workaround requires manually deleting unused topics which is inconvenient.
