Description
We use artifactory internally with authentication, and have manually published an archetype-catalog.xml file.
If I run archetype:generate -DarchetypeCatalog=https://my.internal.address, I get an access denied error.
If I run archetype:generate -DarchetypeCatalog=https://username:password@my.internal.address the it works fine and I can use my published archetypes.
I have the username and password for the server configured in my settings.xml file, and it works fine to use published artifacts. It would be nice if it worked for this archetype catalog too, so I do not have to put username and password on the command line.
