Description

I ran the steps in Installation Guide on a barebone RHEL 5.7 and I ran into several issues.

It seems that there's a bug in RPM for handling the download RPM URL if I causes redirection. See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=796410.

Also, we should clearly state how to install packages that Ambari RPM depends on.
