Description

Ambari Server should manage these attributes. It should be the user or the kerberos principal username.

oozie.service.ProxyUserService.proxyuser.#AmbariUserOrPrincipal#.groups
oozie.service.ProxyUserService.proxyuser.#AmbariUserOrPrincipal#.hosts

Without them the Workflow Manager View will not function.

Ambari already manages this exact config for the knox user.

And managed the Ambari principal user for core-site hadoop.proxyuser:

hadoop.proxyuser.#AmbariUserPrincipal#.groups
hadoop.proxyuser.#AmbariUserPrincipal#.hosts
