Description
When running in an environment where the start-up scripts are not used to manage roles (and instead something like puppet is allowed to do its job) then the masters, slaves, gc, etc... files do not necessary need to be configured or even exist.
However, using any tool that indirectly references config.sh, like the shell, will still produce an error message (the tool will still run):
grep: /etc/accumulo/conf/masters: No such file or directory
