Description

A RequestContext parameter was added to most of the CollectionProvider methods a while back, but getId() doesn't have one. My use case is that the base URI of my service is parameterized (e.g. http://example.com/users/

{userId}

/service/). Therefore my CollectionProvider must be able to determine the base URI when it assigns an ID.
