We are using the Apache Web Server 2.2.17 as the proxy server and the backend server is Oracle AS 10g. We occassionally encountered a proxy error when browsing the Web pages. We checked the error log of the Apache Server and the following errors were found: [Wed Apr 13 15:11:50 2011] [error] [client 203.185.5.30] (70014)End of file found: proxy: error reading status line from remote server www.abcd.com, referer: https://www.abcd.com/prod/jsp_public/authen/online_services.jsp [Wed Apr 13 15:11:50 2011] [error] [client 203.185.5.30] proxy: Error reading from remote server returned by /prod/jsp_public/authen/portal_redirect.jsp, referer: https://www.abcd.com/prod/jsp_public/authen/online_services.jsp Is there any fix or workaround for this issue?
Do you have any trace that implies the status line came over just fine and Apache mishandled it? You should work with your AS vendor.
