Description Ravinder 2007-04-16 23:35:51 UTC
Dear Sir/Madam,

After installation of the Apache server it is giving the following error:

"..Syntax Error on line no 133 of : C:/Program files/Apache software
foundation/Apache2.2/httpd.conf
Serveradmin takes one argument, The email address of the Server Administrator.."
and the apache server fails to start..

The email id of the administrator has been provided during the installation process.

Hoping for an early resolution of the error

Thanks and Regards

Ravinder

An EMAIL ADDRESS is in the form of username@domain

Whatever you provided apparently included spaces, tabs, etc.

Working as designed. Choose repair to reconfigure.

This is a bugs database for Apache. It is not a user support forum.

As for an MSWord attachment, nothing in Apache uses that format, so how can it
be relevant to an apache problem? At best it obscures the information anyone
would need to help; but it's also well-known for spreading viruses.
