Back port the addition of the TRACE level to the 1.2 code base.  This includes 
the TRACE instance itself as well as associated Logger trace() and 
isTraceEnabled() methods.

Need to determine if this breaks serialization with earlier versions of log4j 
and determine if we still want to do it anyway.
