The subview component class (org.apache.shale.component.SubView) has hard coded casts to check for ViewController that are not triggered when you are using annotated view controllers with the Tiger Extensions library.

Fxed in nightly build 20060701 (and in the 1.0.3-SNAPSHOT to be pushed tonight. It is now possible to use view contollers annotated with the @View annotation from shale-tiger, in conjunction with the <s:subview> component.
