Description
I've noticed that the javascript files in the commons validator are pretty big in terms of whitespace. As a
result, the static javascript file used on my site (i.e. generated by the html:javascript tag) is also large,
about 43k.
One way to reduce the size of this file would be to add an optional attribute to JavascriptValidatorTag that
inidicates to compress the output.
I'm not sure if there's any existing javascript compressors in the commons project. The folks at dojo have
implemented one using Rhino (http://dojotoolkit.org/docs/compressor_system.html) I'm sure there are
others.
