It's not terribly interesting.

You really want to focus on the VERSIONINFO member of the library's dll resource,
which provides a whole lot more meaningful information to the user/developer.
I presume you already attach that?

In both STDCXX-675 and STDCXX-610 the needed to define the stcdxx library name as string.
Maybe this code should be implemented in separated .h file, or even in config.h at the configure step.

Since this issue requires the same changes, as the connected STDCXX-675 and the priority of this issue is low, deferring it to 4.3 release.
