On HP-UX 11.23 and prior versions of the OS negative long double NaN is formatted without the minus sign:

Caused by the referenced bug in HP-UX printf().

This will be hard to fix given that it's caused by a compiler bug. Lowered Priority and deferred to 4.2.1.

As noted in STDCXX-463, this is caused by a platform-specific bug: HP aCC doesn't generate negative NaNs on HP-UX/PA-RISC.
There's nothing we can do about it. Closing as Won't Fix.
