Description

We're working with existing PIG / Hive infrastructure that assumes columns are encoded via java.net.URLEncode.encode() as opposed to using escape characters. We developed a patch that defines a new option on codegen and import: --urlEncodedColumns. This option takes a comma separated list of column names just like --columns. Anyone else interested in this approach?
