Description

The Libevent SSL Socket code has had a number of issues over time and still has open issues. This serves to collect them under one epic.

Supporting two event loops with a specialized SSL socket only supported for one of the event loops is a burden. I would like to consolidate on a single event loop (my preference is libev, but we may want to take a look at other options like libuv or how nghttp2 deals with SSL).
