Description

So I have a setup where I need to mirror our production cluster to our preproduction cluster, but can't use the original topic names.

I've patched mirror maker to allow me to define a prefix for each topic and I basically prefix everything with mirror_. I'm wondering if there's interest for this feature upstream ?

I have a patch available for Kafka 0.9.0.1 (what I'm using) and from what I've seen it should apply well to Kafka 0.10.0.X too.
