Description

I have extracted the JDBC code out of Hive 0.13.1 in order to make a standalone impala JDBC driver.

The idea behind extracting the code from Hive is to be able to relase a JDBC driver for Impala at a faster pace.

Also it allows to fix issues on the driver without impacting the rest of Hive codebase.

Eventually it would be possible (and easier) to add features that are specific to Impala.

This is the first version, and it's not yet fully tested yet
