Description
Hadoop 2.3 includes miniKdc module. This provides a KDC that can be used by downstream projects to implement unit tests for Kerberos authentication code.
The HIVE-6657 patch includes a base miniKdc framework for Hive. That can be leveraged to add authentication (both Kerberos and delegation token) tests for metastore.
