Description

Without the pre-drops, failed tests may cause subsequent tests to fail which otherwise would have passed (especially since these scripts reuse table names).

Alternatively, instead of adding pre-drops to these scripts, add test infrastructure for cleaning out any existing test-created objects from the metastore automatically.
