Description

After HDFS-6102 the maximum number objects in a directory has been reduced to fit the 64Mb protobuf message size. andrew.wang suggests that this limit could be removed / increased if we chunked messages here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-6102?focusedCommentId=14160845&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-14160845 .
