Description

I want to use this jira to discuss doing HDFS editlog logging before namespace update. Couple of bugs (though have been solved with work arounds) HDFS-2815, HDFS-3191 are related to this. Also currently an update to namespace becomes visible to other readers, even though it is not persisted in editlog.
