Description

Currently, the documentation doesn't cover about configuring DNS with thrift or rest gateways, though code base does provide provision for doing so. The following parameters are being used for accomplishing the same.
For REST:

• hbase.rest.dns.interface
• hbase.rest.dns.nameserver

For Thrift:

• hbase.thrift.dns.interface
• hbase.thrift.dns.nameserver
