Does it make sense to add a pre-fix to 'reserved' names? I'm thinking something along the lines of:

forrest-site, forrest-changes, forrest-todo, forrest-faq, forrest-images, forrest-my-images, forrest-skinconf

(of course this may cause issues with building the forrest web site, :-)).

We should remove all filename and path based processing.
All processing should happen on extensions and file contents.

Set this for 0.8 after the internal changes in 0.7

Nicola,
Could you put an example of this external stuff? please, expand it a bit more so I can help on this.

Last time the versions were not set right (see previous comment).

The FAQ "Some of my files are not being processed because they use common filenames." needs to be updated when this issue is resolved.

Ross Gardler added a comment - 24/May/05 08:27 PM
With respect to the chagnes, todo and releaseNotes files these are generated by the progjectInfo plugin. They are generated from the status.xml file so this can be resolved by using the source-type resolver.

THis is another symptom of issue FOR-217
