Description
I know that running nodes without a master is not the recommended setup, but for simplicity's sake we would like to do so for now. One issue though is that only one logical node can currently be started when starting a node. We would like to do something like:
$ ./bin/flume node -1 -s -n 'node1 node2' -c '
node1: syslogUdp(5140) | collectorSink("hdfs://localhost/foo/", "", 60000);
node2: syslogUdp(5141) | collectorSink("hdfs://localhost/bar/", "", 60000);
'
where the -n option accepts one or more space separated node names.
I patched the code to accomplish this but an upstream blessed version would be awesome
