Currently DSML plugin only allows to get DSML responses upon DSML requests. However I think the core is capable of converting any LDAP response to DSML. So it would be valuable to get any search results as a DSML output even if the request was not imported as an DSML XML.

Exactly. I had in mind to integrate a DSML export wizard to the LDAP Browser Plugin (aside the LDIF and CSV export wizards).

In fact, the whole DSML Plugin is going to be integrated in the Browser as DSML Import/Export wizards.

This issue has been partially resolved in commit 490766.

Some features still need to be activated and working.
