Current implementation requires an admin credential at the first run (initialization phase) because ApacheDS sets the password as the specified admin credential. But users complain that this prevents them from setting up ApacheDS easily. So we decided to use a default password at the initialization phase. But ApacheDS will have to warn a user that he or she has to change the default password as soon as possible if the password still remains a the default one.
