I realise now that the SerializedSystemIni.dat is not actually needed reference to it could be removed from the java class I provided.

Looks like Cargo is the way forward, but we needed a quick fix, so writing this was the only answer and someone else may find it useful.

Hi Adrian,

It's great to have such patches, so people that need to use it and cannot wait for Cactus 1.8 could apply the patch and generate a private Cactus version.

But at this point, we better not apply the patch on Cactus 1.7 branch, as we wouldn't be able to properly test if it works and this branch is temprary - we need to roll cactus 1.8 ASAP

Cactus-Cargo integration already in the SVN HEAD so I am cosing this issue.
