Created attachment 22035 [details] Return Date header values in HTTP format When you retrieve a header value from a DirContextURLConnection, it currently returns a string by simply calling .toString() on the internal object, no matter the type of that Object. For Date value headers such as 'Last-Modified', this results in a String formatted according to Java standards, rather than the Date format specified by the HTTP standard as clients of the API would expect. This is a follow-up to bug 44611.
This has been fixed in trunk and proposed for 6.0.x Many thanks for the patch.
The patch has been committed to 6.0.x and will be in 6.0.17 onwards. Again, thanks for the patch.
