Description desprez 2005-10-26 10:55:28 UTC
'a piori' mod_proxy has this BUG

On a file browse form, if there are spaces into file path, file will not be
uploaded. With IE or Firefox on windows.

To solve the problem, I manually replace spaces by %20 in upload form file control

Insufficent information to infer a problem with apache.

BROWSERS convert spaces, as they are REQUIRED to do by the HTTP specs.

It worked fine with apache 2.0.54 and the same configuration.

If I access directly to the site, there is no problem. When I try to access
using the apache proxy, It doesn't work all the time.

I think the problem is more complicated than just space conversion. When I try
to upload a file (with html browse button), It works fine with some files but
not all the files (whether there are spaces or not in the path). I have the same
problem with my linux browsers. It's nor a size nor a filename nor a browser
problem.
