Description Matthias 2005-02-11 11:24:36 UTC
I have 6 fo:block-container. 3 at the left side of the page with text-
align="start" and 3 at the right side of the page with text-align="end". So it
looks a little bit as a 3x2 table. Problem: if there is a certain space between
the left and the right objects, the text-align="end" doesn't seem to work
properly. The three objects at the right side have exactely the same horizontal
position and also the same widht in the fo-file. But in the pdf-file one object
is placed at the wrong position! It moves a little bit to the left. So this
doesn't look nice if all objects should be "right-aligned".

I can't see the problem in the test FO you attached. Maybe you have a
different test file where the problem happened. Alignment problems can happen
if you're using a font with kerning information. If you remove the kerning
elements from the font metric XML the problem should go away.

Gruss aus Luzern :-)

Fixed in FOP 0.94 and probably earlier versions
