values for dependencies are using interpolation that isn't defined.

therefore all dependent jars are breaking on the download

Could you be more specific? e.g. try attaching your output or letting us know what jars you can't find

AFAIK this is now resolved. We experienced some problems with both Apache.org and codehaus.org going down.

Things should now build properly with a recent version of maven 2
